September 2025 saw KNG engineers commence the refurbishment work at the Younger Building in Edinburgh.
The 3-storey office block previously occupied by the Royal Bank of Scotland is being remodelled into a “future ready” workplace. KNG have developed a services strategy to allow flexibility for new tenants whilst delivering a decarbonisation of the existing building including VRF heating and cooling systems, AHU refurbishment, LED lighting and enhanced building controls. KNG are undertaking the design and installation of the building services with Muir Construction on behalf of Scarborough Group International. The MEP refurbishment is due to complete in April 2026.
